These high torque mini gear reduction starters are for the Buick Nailhead 264 c.i. engines from 1953 through 1956 and 322 c.i. engines from 1953 through 1956. They feature Nippondenso motors and solenoids with a custom mounting plate and drive assembly to fit the early Buick Nailhead engines. Make sure you know your engine and transmission years before ordering.
